Men's Basketball

The Bishops snapped a 6 game winning streak with a loss at Hiram on Saturday. The Bishops were in striking distance, trailing by only 3 in the second half, but a 11-0 Terrier run to put the Bishops away.

Sophomore wing Tim Brady led the Bishops with 15 points, while freshman guard Andy Winters and junior forward Andrew Martin finished with 12 points apiece.

Sophomore Forward Pat Pellerite grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

Women's Basketball

The Bishops bounced back from a loss at Wittenberg defeating Oberlin 78-65 on Tuesday. Senior guard Lauren Gentene scored 7 points during a 9-0 run that gave Ohio Wesleyan a double-digit lead, and junior guard Pam Quigney hit a pair of 3-pointers during an 8-0 burst to open the second half.

Quigney led the Bishops with 18 points.

Gentene finished with a career-high 13 points, and junior guard Tyler Cordell and junior forward Kayla Gordon added 12 points apiece.

Track and Field

The women's team won the NCAC Relays title, out-scoring runner-up Oberlin, 107-69.

The NCAC Relays title was the fourth in a row for the Bishops.

The Ohio Wesleyan men's team won the meet with 104 points to 76 for runner-up Wabash.

Eldridge, Jolliff, Martin, Newman, Patrick, Phlipot, Reiter, Shinn and Zimmerly have been named NCAC Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 1.
