• On Jan. 23 a resident of the Modern Foreign Language House reported that the bench located on the front porch of the house had been stolen. Investigation is ongoing.
• On Jan. 23 two residents in Bashford Hall were referred to student judicial for possession/use of illegal drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Delaware Police were contacted and later filed charges against the two residents.
• On Jan. 26 Public Safety Officers were called to Thomson Hall in response to a grease fire in the kitchen. The fire was extinguished immediately with minor damage to the sink and ceiling.
• On Jan. 26 a Resident Advisor in Stuyvesant Hall reported damage to a dry erase board located on the first floor.
• On Jan. 28 Public Safety Officers were called to Hamilton-Williams Campus Center by housekeeping personnel on a possible suspicious person. A search of the building and immediate vicinity did not indicate any illegal activity.
• On Jan. 28 a student reported the theft of an ipod converter from his car, which was parked in the House of Black Culture lot. The vehicle door had been left unsecured.
• On Jan. 30 Public Safety Officers were dispatched to Alpha Sigma Phi, 9 Williams Drive in response to welfare emergency. Victim was treated by Delaware City Fire Department Emergency Medical Squad and transported to Grady Hospital.
• On Jan. 30 damage was reported to a fire exit sign located in the first floor stairwell of Stuyvesant Hall. Investigation also revealed that a table in the "Smoker" area had been ripped off the base. No suspects at this time.
• On Jan. 31 Public Safety Officers were called to Thomson Hall on a report of possible drug use. Investigation failed to locate any evidence of drug use. Residents were charged with violation of the "substance free" policy due to the presence of several empty alcohol containers.
• On Jan. 31 damage to several bushes adjacent to the Chappelear Drama Center was reported. There are no suspects at this time.
